Job Description:

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at Solas Audio Visual, you will be responsible for introducing and expanding our client base within our target market. Your role will focus on understanding client needs, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with our support network and follow established work processes to effectively execute your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Base Growth: Actively expand the company's client base within the target market.
  • Client Engagement: Meet with both existing and potential clients to thoroughly understand their needs, ensuring their requirements are met while cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Calendar Management: Identify gaps in the company's project calendar and strategically target projects during these periods.
  • Deal Closure: Utilise your strong negotiation skills and industry knowledge to close deals successfully.
  • Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of Solas Audio Visual's position, capabilities, and competitive advantages in the market.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute an effective sales strategy designed to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Revenue Growth: Take ownership of driving revenue growth for the company through your strategic business development efforts.
  • Key Decision Makers: Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organisations.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure the delivery of the right message to the market, aligning your sales efforts with the company's marketing initiatives.


Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the audio-visual or related industry.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of the audio-visual industry and market dynamics is desired
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A results-driven and proactive mindset.
